IS HOME GAME ADVANTAGE REAL?

This project explores the concept of home game advantage in the NBA by analyzing historical game data. Using a linear regression model, my project investigates whether playing at home significantly impacts a team's performance compared to away games. The analysis includes factors such as team strength, win/loss records, and points scored. Various visualizations, including scatter plots, heatmaps, and regression lines, are employed to illustrate the relationship between home court advantage and game outcomes, providing insights into the validity and magnitude of the home game advantage in professional basketball.

STOCK X SNEAKER PREDICTION

This project aims to predict the price of sneakers using regression analysis, leveraging a dataset from StockX's 2019 data competition. The dataset includes various features such as order date, brand, sneaker name, sale price, and other relevant factors. By applying regression techniques, my project seeks to identify key determinants of sneaker pricing and forecast the sale price of a given sneaker. Through data preprocessing, model selection, and performance evaluation, I provide insights into market trends and the variables that most influence sneaker resale values.

WEB SCRAPPING

This project focuses on web scraping the Revolve homepage using Beautiful Soup. The project involves writing Python scripts to scrape HTML content, parse it with Beautiful Soup, and store the extracted data in a structured format. The goal is to extract and analyze key information such as titles, headers, social media links, and navigation bars, to gain insights into content popularity.

2 PLAYER SOCCER GAME

This larger scale project involves the development of a 2-player soccer game, where players can compete against each other in a virtual soccer match. I aim to include game features like simple controls for passing, shooting, and defending, allowing players to experience fast-paced and engaging gameplay. With a focus on fun and competition, this soccer game should provide an entertaining way for players to challenge their friends and improve their soccer skills in a digital environment.

GHANA PHONE MARKET

This project analyzes a dataset of mobile phones available in Ghana, including details on various models, specifications, and pricing. My project aims to explore trends in mobile phone features, pricing strategies, and brand popularity, providing insights into consumer preferences and market dynamics. By examining this data, valuable information for both consumers and businesses can be gathered to understand the mobile phone landscape in Ghana.
